How to Apply a Car Decal

1. Clean the Surface
Wipe the area with rubbing alcohol or mild soap and water to remove dirt, wax, and oils. Dry thoroughly with a lint-free cloth. (Avoid glass cleaners like Windex—they can leave residue that prevents adhesion.)
⚡ Best Surface Temperature: 60–85°F (16–29°C).

2. Press Down the Transfer Tape
Before peeling, press firmly over the clear transfer tape with your thumb, squeegee, or credit card. This ensures the vinyl sticks properly to the tape.

3. Peel the Backing Paper
Slowly peel the backing paper away from the decal at a sharp angle, making sure the vinyl stays attached to the clear transfer tape. If any piece lifts with the backing, press it back down and peel again slowly.

4. Align & Apply the Decal
Align your decal carefully, then press it onto the clean surface. Start from the center and smooth outward to prevent air bubbles.

5. Firmly Press It In
Use a squeegee, credit card, or your fingers to firmly press the vinyl decal down, especially along edges and corners, for maximum adhesion.

6. Remove the Transfer Tape
Peel the clear transfer tape off slowly at a sharp angle, leaving the vinyl decal adhered to the surface.

7. Let It Cure
Avoid touching, scrubbing, or getting the decal wet for at least 24 hours. Full bond strength is reached after 48–72 hours.

How to Apply a Skin

Perfect for battery wraps, custom device skins, and small electronics

1. Clean the Surface
Use rubbing alcohol or a lint-free cloth to remove oils, dirt, or dust. Make sure the surface is completely dry before applying the skin.

2. Align the Skin
Gently peel the vinyl from the backing paper. Line it up with your device using cutouts (for buttons or LEDs) to guide placement.

3. Apply Slowly & Smooth Out
Start from one side and press the skin down evenly, smoothing out bubbles with a card or finger wrapped in a cloth.

4. (Optional) Use Heat
Use a hairdryer on low heat around curves or corners. Press down firmly while warm to mold the vinyl perfectly.
